Qld. Nissan Patrol 4wd Club Inc. Queensland Nissan Patrol 4wd Club (Inc) Our Story

The Queensland Nissan Patrol 4WD Club was established in 1977. All levels of 4WD experience are catered for.

The club promotes safe, responsible four wheel driving and is affiliated with Four Wheel Drive Queensland. We are a family friendly club that undertakes numerous trips throughout the year. Trips range from a day trip in a State forest or 4WD park, to extensive trips to exotic places such as the Cape, the Victorian high country and the Simpson desert. The club welcomes owners of all makes and models of 4WDs (even Toyotas!). Our members include both single and family members and our activities cater for a variety of interests. Joining the club has many benefits such as:

• Meeting interesting, like minded people
• Increasing your confidence and skills as a 4WD'er.
• Safety in numbers!
• Quarterly magazine

Four Wheel Drive training is available through the club at a private venue in Brisbane for financial members. Please refer to the website for more information.

New members and visitors are more than welcome to attend! It doesn’t matter what you drive ➡️ all makes and models are welcome in our club. 🚜💨

The AGM will be held after the above club meeting and at this time, all committee position will become vacant and voting will commence.

Please note to vote or nominate, your 2025/2026 membership fees must be up to date. If you are interested in holding a position, please have a chat at the meeting or contact one of the Committee.

If you are unable to hold a Committee position however would like to get involved, why not run a Club Trip. We can set you up with other members to assist. Just ask!

As the AGM is only a short time away, nominations will be open and will be taken from the floor at the meeting.

Grab a cold one and settle back into the sh***un seat - Part 2 is here! 🏔️🥩

Once we finally finished crawling through Will's infamous "air-releasing" creek bed, it was time to point the noses of the rigs straight up. We tackled a massively steep, loose, and rocky hill climb that had everyone working for their line. There’s nothing quite like the sound of wheels crunching rocks and the absolute satisfaction of making it to the crest!

After conquering the peak, it was a steady trek back to camp where the real rewards were waiting. Nothing tastes better than camp comfort food and a yarn around the fire after a massive day of low-range work.

Buckle up and jump into the sh***un seat! 🚙💨

The recent trip out to Sundown National Park, our legendary trip leader, Will, led the charge through a bone-dry, incredibly rocky creek bed. Safe to say, you wouldn't want to tackle this track when it’s full of water!

After some intense, wheel-lifting rock crawling, the terrain opened right up, eventually turning into an absolute "highway" compared to the rough stuff we started on. Will got the crew through as far as he wanted to push it for the day, leaving the rest of the creek's secrets waiting for our next exploration.

Of course, no club trip is complete without a classic quote for the memory banks. 🤭

After a highly suspicious hiss echoed over the comms, Will tried to convince us it was just his diff locker releasing... or was it? 🤐

Quote of the weekend:
👉 "That’s just the air coming out… from under my seat." 😉💨

Sure Will, we totally believe it was just the pneumatic lockers! 😉🔧

The mud might be washed off, but the unpacking procrastination is officially in full swing! 🚙🧼

Clubbers had a smashing weekend at Sundown, and it turns out our members are just as good at finding shortcuts to comfort as they are at finding lines on the tracks. 😉

Shoutout to the crew who proved that 4WDing is a team sport:
* The Hardcore Crew: Dave and Hame, who actually did the hard yards driving. 😴- see napping photo
* The Camp Security: Those who selflessly stayed behind to "guard the tents" (read: had a tactical sneaky nap). 💤 💪🏼😓- Nancy
* The Royalty: We won't name names, but one of our own officially claimed the title of "Passenger Princess," abandoning their own rig for the sweet, sweet luxury of Will’s softer suspension. Live your best life in luxury, Queen! 👑✨

☀️ Spring is officially here, and the Warrior is thriving.

Look at this absolute beast just soaking up the sun and living its absolute best life. Honestly, I haven't seen anything enjoy a sunny day this much since my cat found a dirt patch in the backyard. You’d think a massive, rumbling 5.6L V8 wouldn’t care about bikini season, but here we are. It’s out here working on its tan, showing off that aggressive Premcar stance, and pretending it doesn’t actively consume fuel like a commercial jet airliner.

They say money can’t buy happiness, but it can buy a 2025 Nissan Patrol Warrior, which is essentially a giant solar-powered smile that makes a lot of V8 noise.

🎸 CHEEERS TO OUR LEGENDARY VOLUNTEERS! 🍻

Huge shoutout to a couple of our amazing club members who have been hard at work volunteering up at the Gympie Music Muster! ⛺🎵

From feeding the hungry troops to sorting out registrations and everything in between, these two have truly turned their hands to absolutely anything needed. They’ve been soaking up the incredible live music, eating great food, and enjoying some classic, top-tier Aussie company.

Helping out is just what we do! Our club is always proud to pitch in at major events and community projects right across the country. Whether it is the K’gari Cleanup, lending a hand with BlazeAid, or keeping our trails pristine through Adopt-a-Track, our members are always ready to roll up their sleeves. 🛠️🌊Volunteers are the backbone of our community and keep this great country what it is.

To everyone who gives up their time to help out: we raise a glass to you. You bloody beauties! 🥂🇦🇺
