Another incredible Backyard Bonanza sponsor deserving of a very special shoutout, the Bracken Ridge Tavern!

I caught up with Chad and Lis White at the event on Sunday, and their support of this community speaks for itself. The Bracken Ridge Tavern's generous sponsorship this year was the reason every single amusement ride at Backyard Bonanza was completely free for every family that came.

And it does not stop there. The Bracken Ridge Tavern are also regular supporters of our monthly Train Day with the Bracken Ridge Lions Club, another wonderful community initiative that brings so much joy to families across the community.

What an absolutely incredible day at Backyard Bonanza 2026! 🎉

Thousands of smiles, endless laughs and a community that showed up in the most spectacular way. From the rides to the market stalls, the food trucks to Sideshow Alley, and of course SpongeBob SquarePants who was an absolute hit with the kids, yesterday was everything and more.

A special mention to the incredible local talent providing the soundtrack to today's post. Big Jon and Michelle Twartz and Nik Phillips, you were sensational along with all of our local performers! 🙌🎶

But none of this happens without people who care deeply about this community. The biggest thank you to the Bracken Ridge Lions Club whose months of hard work, planning and dedication paid off in the most extraordinary way yesterday. You should be so incredibly proud. There is so much work that happens behind the scenes and in the weeks leading up to this event.
