Scored two unreal rust free 80 Series Landcruiser bolt cap panel and firewall floor.

From factory, there's two little open grooves and sealer only the bottom. This is where water, dirt, mud and sand gets in.

On the bottom there is a grommet that most people don't remove that is designed to wash out dirt and water that gets into the panel. Together with the lack of rust proofing and sealer applied to the panel from factory, over time it is a common problem for this area to become rusted out.

After I have repaired the panel I flatten both grooves, seal around it, add two extra drain holes on the bottom and rust proof the area.

I have some exciting plans for these two panels and will update once it's underway.
