We recently had this Mk7 Volkswagen Golf GTI in the workshop with what can only be described as the full catalogue of oil and coolant leaks

🛢️ Oil leaks
• Camshaft cover
• Timing cover seals
• Sump seals

💧 Coolant leaks
• Radiator
• Water pump
• Coolant reservoir
• Hoses & coolant couplings

With leaks coming from all over the engine, this GTI needed plenty of attention to get everything back to where it should be.

After replacing the failed components and addressing each of the leaks, this GTI is back together and ready to get back on the road. 👌

Another busy few weeks in the workshop with a variety of major repairs keeping the team flat out.

🔧 MK6 Golf GTI – Cylinder head repair following a failed timing chain. We stripped the engine, carried out the necessary repairs, and had it back together and running as it should.

🔧 Volkswagen Golf – Complete engine rebuild after diagnosing a cracked piston causing low compression. A big job, but one that’s now back on the road performing like it should.

🔧 Porsche Macan GTS – Mechatronics harness and solenoid replacement to rectify gearbox issues causing the vehicle to lose gears. Rather than replacing the entire mechatronics unit, we diagnosed the fault and carried out a targeted repair, saving our customer unnecessary replacement costs.

Whether it’s routine servicing, diagnostics, or major engine and transmission repairs, we’re committed to finding the right solution—not just the most expensive one.

We’ve finally had a chance to get on top of the workload, empty the workshop out, and give the place a well-deserved clean-up. It’s amazing what a difference a tidy workshop makes!

A clean and organised workshop helps us work more efficiently and ensures we can continue providing the high standard of service our customers expect.

It’s been a busy couple of weeks in the workshop with a great mix of jobs coming through the doors.

From a Volkswagen Tiguan with all four speakers blown, to carrying out major oil and coolant leak repairs on an Audi Q7, no two days have been the same.

We’ve also had a Volkswagen Transporter in for a worn camshaft replacement and tackled noisy timing chains on a Toyota Hilux, with plenty of servicing, diagnostics and repairs in between.

Whether it’s a complex European vehicle repair, a diagnosis that’s been giving you headaches, or routine maintenance to keep your vehicle running at its best, we’re always up for the challenge.

Thanks to everyone who continues to trust us with their vehicles. We appreciate the support and look forward to helping many more customers keep their cars on the road.

A bit happening behind the scenes in the workshop lately 🔧

We’ve been busy in the shed carrying out maintenance on one of our hoists while also making room for a third hoist to help us keep up with the workload and improve turnaround times.

We’re always looking at ways to improve the workshop and invest back into the business so we can continue delivering quality work and better service for our customers.

We’re also big on keeping things clean and tidy. You’ll notice your vehicle will always leave with a clean engine bay after repairs — not just because it looks better, but because a clean engine bay makes it easier to inspect components, spot leaks and carry out quality work properly. We take pride in treating every vehicle with care and attention to detail while it’s in the workshop.

The workshop’s been flat out🔧 the last couple weeks with spots filling up quick. We’ve had a mix of big jobs and everyday repairs keeping us busy — engine work, leak repairs, servicing and a few tricky diagnostics thrown in as well.

Unfortunately we missed a few progress photos along the way (too busy getting the work done 😅) but we’ll try to keep you all updated a bit more over the next couple of weeks.
