We know this, because we’ve dragged them through places where a camper trailer has no business being. We’ve done thousands of kilometres along twisting, overgrown, barely navigable trails that are often known only to locals and see no more than a handful of intrepid travellers each year. We’ve tested their absolute limits on some of Australia’s most insane 4wd tracks, where deep ruts, deep water a
nd deep drop-offs are always around the next corner. We’ve been through extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, wind and snow. And along the way, as we learned more about how our camper trailers performed, we continually re-engineered parts to be stronger, lighter, better. Why submit our trailers to such tortuous tests in environments where very few people will ever take them? Because we know if they can survive these tests, where every component is put under unbearable strain, every join is twisted to its limits and every part of the undercarriage is banged against ruts, banks and rocks repeatedly, then it’s guaranteed to last for many, many years under normal use. Even better – we’ve done all this without compromising storage, comfort and driveability. When you tow this on sealed roads, you’ll sometimes forget you’re even towing it. And when you arrive at camp, you’ll be fully set up in well under half an hour, ready to crack a beer. Cheers to that.
