Ripped out the old, half way rotten cabin area and made up some REALLY strong framework.
Wanted it all a bit higher and longer with the allowance for walking/sitting on the top.

Started working on an old cruiser, told it's around the 70-ish year old mark.
Currently working out of Newport Marina. Got a lot done so far, mostly the structural side of things with a few major renovations.

Renovated a steel twin hulled, two story houseboat!
Removed a fair bit of internal and external surface rust and applied on rust prevention for future protection. Patched up a few minor weather leaks and also gave it a fresh waterproofing membrane on the upstairs walkways to create a great foundation for some decking tiles and artificial grass.
Added in new bulge pumps and float switches along with refurbishing the water maker system and a full on overhaul of the Kitchen, Outdoor dining area, Lounge and Sundeck.
The downstairs area had 2 rooms, bathroom and toilet along with cockpit and lounge/kitchen. Removed walls from rear bedroom and re-routed 12v supply for lighting to create a massive lounge/entertaining area with its open plan kitchen.

-Back in 2019-
43 foot Bay Cruiser, plywood build with fibreglass skin.
Severe rot in timber below water level due to a previous owner using poured concrete as ballast.
Removed all concrete and rotten parts and replaced with fresh, treated marine grade hardwoods. Ballast replaced with lead and plastic coated cement for level adjustment.
80% of the port hull below waterline also needed removal and replacement.
Luckily the keel and most major supports were unaffected.
End product was the newly functional and renovated "Intrepid"
