The Slipstream full system is live! Developed for the R9 / MT09 / XSR900 / XSR900GP, our latest exhaust system runs entirely underslung, with the updated routing reducing weight and install times, whilst improving cornering angle clearance and keeping the pipes untouched in the case of a spill.

On our new Slipstream system, the slash cut end cap of the Flanker muffler exits parallel to the swingarm rather than kicking upwards on our standard CP3 system, and this reduces volume slightly for the rider. We’ve relocated the catalytic converter into the merge to link join, allowing us to route the pipeworks around the back of the sump to give the flanker Rossi level cornering clearance whilst also running a secondary o2 sensor port for Euro 5+ models.

It’s been a long time coming and we’re stoked on how the new system fits, sounds, looks and performs. For more info, check it out on the website!

This was the very first product designed at Kelpi… Back in the day, we only made it for our own bike to improve the comfort and give it some retro styling, and that got some attention and requests for different versions from XSR riders here in Australia. Fast forward 5 years and we’ve made thousands of seat trims and comfort seats for clients in 65 countries around the world. That’s pretty crazy for a small Australian business offering made to order, customizable and handmade upholstery - it’s not an easy service to scale! A massive thanks to every one of our clients and team who’ve helped support us over this journey… it’s been a wild ride that’s required us to rise to the challenge every step of the way.

It’s no secret we’ve been leaning into the Triumph range lately, and the expanding range of 660 models is a big focus. Whilst our exhaust is still wrapping a fairly extended development process, we’ve completed seats for the Trident, Daytona and now the Tiger Sport. The Tiger’s running one of the longest seat units we’ve had come across our desk, so breaking it up with different materials and panels helps take away some of the visual bulk. Not every seat can take an inch of dual density foam inlays on top of it without undoing some of that work and adding more visual bulk, but the Tiger 660 seat manages that really nicely, creating the comfort improvement that we’re known for. Once we know the rider’s weight we’re able to select the right densities of foam to use, and every seat is made to order here in Brisbane.

The 2019+ S1000RR full comfort seats have been really popular, so we’ve gone and designed up comfort seat trims for the 15-18 models. This generation of s1kr was the first 200+ horsepower bike I ever jumped onto (cheers Bek! ), and it’s still in my top 3 bikes to take up into the mountains 👌 May also fit the 12-14 models - still TBC 😅

We built this a few years back, and as far as classic bikes go, these bikes pack a decent punch and have one of the best soundtracks of all time. Street Triples stock exhausts from 2023 onwards are welded top to bottom, but for locals we do offer a walk in chop and weld service. We run stock headers and catalytic converter, with our link and flanker welded up in place of the stock box to drop almost 5kg from the mix. Great volume level, great throttle response, great soundtrack 👌
