Another tidy fix completed on this LH Torana at Merge Automotive 🔧🔥

This vehicle came in with a fuel cell breather hose pushed straight through the body with no grommet or protection. The hose was rubbing on sharp metal edges, which can eventually cause cracking, fumes entering the cabin, or even a fire hazard.

We cleaned it up properly — fitted the right grommet/cable gland, sealed the pass-through, and made sure the breather hose is secured, protected, and compliant.
A simple job, but one that makes a massive difference in safety and longevity.

On this TD42 Patrol, we installed a new boost tee.

Previously, it was running without proper boost control (free boosting - not ideal!). We also rerouted the boost gauge to get a true reading from a brass fitting installed in the intake pipe. Accurate readings and controlled power are key!

When this TD42 Patrol landed at Merge Automotive, the wiring harness needed some love and attention. The original 3.0L loom had been adapted for the TD42, but the ex*****on left a lot to be desired. Time for some serious electrical surgery!
