Xb build has pretty much had the rear half of the car replaced, it’s no wonder you see so many of these for sale sandblasted 🤦‍♂️, The power hammer delivering the goods on the panels , quarter panel tuned up to the sweeps and looking great, inners and frame work in epoxy ready to fit next week . I cannot wait to have this buttoned up, I’ve had Alex busy machining parts to mount the driveline so we can move onto engine bay fab next 💪

Mercedes 300ce build with a full 2018 c63s driveline conversion front and rear 💪💪

We were supplied with a full c63 shell so we could cross reference and bring all the geometry into cad. We then modelled the chassis rails, ride height and wheel location of the receiving car and layered the c63 component locations over the top aligning the wheel centre line and the centre line of the car , we could then build out our plate work , strut towers, upper control arm mounts and subframe standoffs keeping all locations castor / anti dive and geometry.

The plate work is now in and fitting like a dream, from here we will strip it to finish all welding and cap off all the places we couldn’t get too with the driveline in , updates to come on this weapon .
