A tune can only work with what the engine's giving it — and on a high-km diesel, that's often the injectors.

Worn injectors spray fuel poorly, which means uneven cylinders, rough idle, blacker smoke, and power that just isn't there no matter how good the map is.

Signs to watch for: rough idle, a fuel smell, increased smoke, or a drop in economy that's crept up over time.

We test, recondition, or replace injectors as part of the diagnostic process — because a tune on top of tired injectors is just masking the real problem.

“Got a tune on a D40 Navara for towing a small van. The staff were more than helpful and answered all of my questions. The tune is great and is providing a lot less stressful driving experience. Hills are no longer an issue.

I came to this mob as there were recommended by other mechanics and I previously had issues with a different tuning company, getting limp home codes and poor customer service.

The tune has provided zero problems during much urban use and a recent 1,800km trip to Emerald and back with climbs into Blackdown Tablelands. I will be back with my next vehicle.”

Recommended by other mechanics, burnt by a previous tuner, came to us and hasn't looked back. That's the kind of result we're here for.

That's the real test of a tune — not what it does on the dyno, but what it does when you're 4,000km from home towing a van through the NT.

This Colorado owner did the big lap after getting tuned with us. Averaged 15.8L/100km the whole way, with the torque and power to handle whatever the road threw at it.

When a dealer flash wiped the tune mid-trip, we sorted a reinstall remotely. That's the Flash Diesel difference — the job doesn't end when you drive out of the workshop.
