Hughes Mechanical is proud to be collecting donations for the amazing mums supported by Jodie’s Place this Mother’s Day.

We’re collecting toiletries, small gifts, and thoughtful items to help make these mums feel appreciated and special.

If you would like to contribute, we are accepting donations at our workshop from now until Friday 8 May ready for Mother’s’ Day .
Every little bit helps and is truly appreciated.

🚗 Now Hiring: eSafety Check Inspector 🔧
Hughes Mechanical

Hughes Mechanical is looking for a reliable and qualified eSafety Check (Pink Slip) Inspector to join our team. If you take pride in your work, have strong attention to detail, and enjoy working in a fast-paced workshop environment, we’d love to hear from you.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for carrying out eSafety inspections in line with NSW regulations, ensuring vehicles meet roadworthy standards while delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct eSafety (Pink Slip) inspections
* Accurately complete and lodge inspection reports
* Identify and communicate vehicle faults clearly to customers
* Maintain a safe and clean work environment
* Work collaboratively with the workshop team

About You:

* Current AIS (Authorised Inspection Station) Examiner licence
* Qualified mechanic (Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of vehicle safety standards and compliance
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Good communication and customer service skills
* Reliable, punctual, and a team player

double demerits are in force this Easter Long Weekend!

They kick in from midnight tonight through to 6 April, so it’s a good reminder to slow down, stay alert, and make safe choices on the road.

Let’s all do our part to keep everyone safe and get home to our families.

Just a reminder that we are closed for the Easter Weekend from Thursday 2 April and re open on Wednesday 8 April.
We have a few spots for eSafety inspections left before we close.
If your vehicle is due for an inspection, give us a buzz to make a booking.

Just a quick heads up to all our valued customers that Hughes Mechanical will be closed from Thursday 2nd April to Tuesday 7th April inclusive over the Easter period.

We’ll be back on deck and ready to go from 8th April at 8am.
