Now that the Widebody Datsun is getting wired up. In true RCFABulous fashion, I needed to make a fancy battery mount for the Lithiumax Race10+

Being such a lightweight battery at under 3.5kgs, it definitely ticks all the box's to keep the car under 1100kg.

A fair bit of progress has gone into this cool A30 replica which Peter Brock raced before he became famous in the Toranas and Commodores.

We are onto the next phase of the build. Fitting up all the accessories/brake systems and modifying interior trim.

Full titanium exhaust on the Widebody Datsun.

4" dump pipe to a full 3.5" oval to round titanium exhaust.

Another step forward on the Widebody Datsun.

Started plumbing up coolant/oil lines using Speedflow Australia 🔧🔩 hoses and fittings supplied from Motorsport Connections Sydney.

Titanium intake and cooler pipes have been fabbed with materials/parts and clamps supplied by Fabrication & Welding Supplies and Plazmaman

Next comes the fuel system by Aftermarket Industries
And then begin to wire in the brains of this build Haltech

We finished off another awesome little Datsun 1200 ute. Rocking some mint Pine Engineering NZ SSR mesh rebuilt wheels.

Mounted engine/box and fabricated all accessories. Resprayed engine bay, stretched guards and reassembled for the customer to finalise the last bits and pieces.

Paying homage to the "King of the Mountain" Peter Brock's 20th anniversary since he died in 2006.

We are building a replica of his Austin A30.

🇯🇵 Finished off Julians rad Hakotora Datsun 1200 wagon.

The Hakotora kit was designed to resemble the late 60s early 70s Nissan Skyline (Hakosuka).

We got the car to the next stage of the build for the customer, where they will start piecing it together.

We fit 15x12 watanabes on the rear, shortening an R31 Skyline diff, fabricated diff saddles/ubolt plates and relocated the leaf springs inboard to gain tyre clearance.

We also tubbed the rear doors and quarters to allow for wheel flares clearances.

This was definitely a fun build.
