Cedar Creek Falls isn't just a waterfall stop.

The surrounding Conway National Park is packed with rainforest, walking trails and hidden pockets of tropical wilderness.

Combine the falls with a rainforest hike, cool off in the freshwater and you've got yourself a pretty magic Whitsunday hinterland adventure. 🌴💦

So is Cedar Creek Falls flowing at the moment? No.

BUT...

The waterfall might be taking a little break, but don’t let that stop you visiting!

Tucked away in the lush Whitsunday hinterland, Cedar Creek Falls is beautiful even when the water isn’t flowing.

Towering rock walls, tropical greenery and a gorgeous natural swimming hole make this a peaceful little escape from the coast.

And when the rains finally arrive… that dry rock face can transform into a spectacular waterfall. 🌧️💦

So if you’re exploring around Airlie Beach, Cedar Creek Falls is still worth adding to the road-trip list - waterfall or no waterfall!

Nothing beats landing in the Whitsundays and then heading to the Prossy bakery.

Whitsundays best Vanilla Slice, anyone?

Make your way through the Whitsunday Coast Airport.

Check out the huge aquarium filled with colourful local marine life. 🐠

Then grab the keys and head out through the endless green cane fields.

At this time of year you should be able to see the smoke from the Proserpine Sugar Mill.

This is sugar-cane country. 🌱

So it's good to grab something SWEET.

Stop at Proserpine Pies & Pastries.

EAT 😁😁😁
