Small Engine Mechanic

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Location: Boorowa, NSW

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of small engines, including lawn mowers, ATV's, UTV's, on road and off road motorcycles, chainsaws, generators, and other outdoor power equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair small engines and related equipment.

• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups.

• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.

• Maintain accurate service records and parts inventory.

• Provide excellent customer service and technical advice.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a small engine mechanic or similar role.

• Strong knowledge of two-stroke and four-stroke engines.

• Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.

• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Relevant trade qualification or certification preferred but not essential

* Be able to work in a team along side other mechanics and alone
* Be confident and kind talking to customers and the general public
* Be reliable and punctual

Days will be Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm in our Boorowa based workshop.
