Many of you who visit us regularly know that our whole park is on a septic tank system.. so, we need to be mindful of using eco friendly cleaning products to keep our septic tanks healthy and efficient. I also feel that our team members, who are cleaning on a regular basis, should not be using harsh chemicals which have been found to be harmful to health.

Anyway - this was a great moment for me today, I have a spray bottle with peppermint essential oil in for wiping down areas which are prone to spiders. This is for safety, as sometimes we have an odd redback spider who like to make their way into the toilets and showers. Rather than kill them, we can encourage them to take an alternative route, as apparently they don't like the smell of peppermint. I happened to accidentally clean a window using this spray (I normally use vinegar) and the window came up sparkling!! Happy days, a much more appealing smell than vinegar.

Do any of you have any other health & eco friendly cleaning tips for us? Sharing is caring :-)
Thank you,
Lisa

Are you interested in becoming an annual on our park? We have limited availability at this time, however here is an opportunity in a nice quiet location on our park:-

Site 5 is located in one of the best spots in the park — a quiet corner with very limited traffic and a large lawn area for kids to play and explore. Stylish, neat, and well looked after, it’s been recently renovated so you can move straight in and enjoy.
