HAVE YOU CHECKED YOUR OIL LATELY?

Engine oil does more than just lubricate your engine—it helps reduce wear, carry heat away and protect against corrosion.

A quick oil check every 4–5 weeks can help you spot potential problems early.

How to check your oil:
1️⃣ Let the engine cool and allow the oil to settle.
2️⃣ Find and remove the dipstick.
3️⃣ Wipe it clean and reinsert it fully.
4️⃣ Remove it again and check the oil level against the **MIN & MAX** marks.

🟡 **Golden/clear oil:** Generally clean
⚫ **Dark or dirty oil:** May be due for a change
⚠️ **Milky or foamy oil:** Could indicate a serious problem—get it checked promptly.

NOTE: If your oil level regularly drops and needs topping up, don't just keep adding oil. It could indicate an underlying issue that needs investigation.

SAFETY TIP: CHECK YOUR LIGHTS!

When was the last time you checked that all your vehicle's lights and indicators were working?

It's a quick safety check that can make a big difference. Ask someone to walk around your vehicle while you test:

🔦 Headlights – high & low beam
↔️ Indicators & hazards
🛑 Brake lights
🔄 Reverse lights
💡 Park lights

Check them regularly, especially before a long trip. Dim or yellow globes should be replaced, and cloudy or discoloured headlights may benefit from a professional headlight restoration rather than costly replacement.

Remember, your vehicle's lights and indicators need to be functioning correctly to meet legal and safety requirements.
