R&D and testing on the ZD8 went extremely well! We installed our new replacement turbo for the BRZ Turbo Kit—our latest dual ball-bearing unit, the AVOSS550.
On the dyno, we saw a strong increase in torque and noticeably quicker boost response. Peak horsepower stayed the same due to the catted front pipe, but the improvements in drivability and response were clear.
At Tsukuba, the car ran flawlessly throughout the entire test day. 🏁

AVOTurboworld have just finished its Suzuki Jimny 2” upgrade cat back exhaust for the long range fuel tank made by OOT 4WD. We have found from testing that the 2 1/2” exhaust is far too loud with the larger fuel tank as you cannot fit a larger enough muffler to keep the noise at an acceptable level. The 2”gives great sound and is not droney on the highway.
