Sales & Trades Assistant – 4WD Accessories & Mechanical

We’re looking for a motivated and reliable Sales & Trades Assistant to join our busy workshop. If you’re passionate about 4WDs, enjoy working with people, and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, we’d love to hear from you.
About the Role
This is a varied position that combines customer service, sales, and workshop support. No two days are the same!
Your responsibilities will include:
* Assisting customers with 4WD accessory sales and enquiries.
* Preparing quotes and processing orders.
* Booking vehicles and liaising with customers throughout the fitting process.
* Supporting the workshop with parts preparation and general duties.
* Assisting with fitting 4WD accessories when required.
* Maintaining a clean, organised, and professional workspace.
What We’re Looking For
* A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Mechanical aptitude or experience in the automotive industry.
* A genuine interest in 4WDs and aftermarket accessories.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Current Australian driver’s licence (manual preferred).
Desirable Experience
* Experience fitting bull bars, suspension, canopies, tow bars, UHF radios, lighting, or other 4WD accessories.
* Automotive, mechanical, or trade qualifications (or currently undertaking one).
* Sales or retail experience in the automotive industry.
