Calling all sponsors!!

We all know what happened last year on the trip to Holden Drag Nationals, it's time to head back and redeem myself!! Time to FINALLY have a proper crack at the bucket list Iron Lion class.

But I need some help to get there..... we all know what it costs to do the things we do and add on the extra for a trip to Melbourne. All donations would be greatly appreciated 😜

Wrap up from the last round at Benaraby Dragway

Was an awesome weekend with awesome peeps!! Tahlia Milner cracking all the PBs all day, Shane taking the win in VK 2.0 in Street Car and Simon Nicholson winning Super Comp with Top Qualifier too. Clint took top qualifier in Super Street with his 1st 10.0.

The big old boat, although it has some gearbox issues, didn't miss a beat. The driver on the other hand..... pulled a cherry when it mattered most.... the one that would have put us in a final 🤣

Stella Clayton was there to capture all the action from Motorsport Photography by Stella even a cheeky pic of the latest member of the crew.

Another Addictive Events The Roadtrip Drag Challenge completed. This round took us to Palmyra Drag Racing Club Inc and we came away still holding the small tyre aspo title! Not only that, we took out the 6.50 Shootout & the DYO Challenge! Something I never imagined I could have achieved.

Hanging with all the old & newly made friends is always a good time & laugh.... Shannon Shagga Matheson on the mic where he should be. Getting to have a run and cruise with the man himself Adrian Brown was a highlight for sure!!

Huge shoutout and massive thanks to the crew at Palmyra Drag Racing Club for all their hard work to run an event like this, Mick, Jane & the Addictive Events crew for everything they do to hold an event of this magnitude, David Lovi for capturing the action shots, Barry Moore from Performance Parts Plus for the naming rights sponsorship and kind words, DropBear Motorsports Mackay for the winnings and support and thanks to all other sponsors & competitors. And never forget the man that makes it all possible, Neil @ Warflow Cylinder Heads.

Another Championship Round at Benaraby Dragway Saturday run and done! No win but a good learning curve to change up how I do things..... I might just make a bracket racer yet 🤣

What a weekend having everyone there including the newest Team Warflow member Brax. Tahlia Milner was back with PBs straight up! How Good!! And Troy Crouch, PBs too with his now 10 sec streeter!

Definitely the highlight of the weekend was the opportunity to race both Simon Nicholson & Carl Dickson. Such amazing cars and racers.

Thanks as always to the sponsors that keep me going and the support from everyone behind the scenes that keep the car running. Shout out to Clint for foregoing racing to be a firey & the volunteers at the track, without them, we don't race 😊

CQDRA Round 2 at Benaraby Dragway run and done! Thought we would take the big ol XY for it's 1st real attempt at the 1320 to see what she can do! A change of set-up from the 6.50 classes we have been running was required. With that done, we turned up the 2 step and back down again haha. Best time was 10.1 but we came away runner up against some very good racers and most importantly, the best wheelstand EVER!!

Thanks to Nathan for his pep talks & guidance, I can also cut a decent light now with a .059 to .020 all day😂

Now we have some changes to make to get car where it should be ET wise.

This weekend we competed in the DropBear Motorsports Mackay Dropbear Shootout at Palmyra Drag Racing Club Inc with amazing results!! The XY still running everything to run a consistent 6.50 did exactly that..... The Warflow Cylinder Heads engine never missed a beat all day even hot lapping between rounds. We made 3 out of 3 finals taking away 1 win, 1 2nd and 1 1st Loser haha. They were a little worried at one point that the 'King Dropbear' crown needed to be changed to 'Queen' 🤣.

It was an awesome weekend with amazing people. Thanks for having us and we will definitely be back.

Thanks to the photographers that captured the amazing pics, the awesome volunteers at Palmyra Drag Racing Club and all the other 91 competitors that made for a great day of racing.

Better late than never.....

Goldrush 660 at CQDRA - Benaraby Dragway was a blast 😜! Both cars on track with Neil coming runner up on the 6.50 class. The event format returned to the track for the 1st time in over 25 years and was amazing!

Thanks to everyone that travelled to support me and congratulations to all the winners. This event is a must if you haven't seen it before. Heaps of fun, laughs and awesome racing.

Shout out to Greg Trapnell & the Trapnell Racing team for not only coming all the way up but putting on a show for the crowd. Scooter March definitely showed Benaraby who Frankie is and I'm sure they would love to see you all again. Thank you to Miss Lara Wilde for the amazing commentary and showing off your 10 sec caddy!! Thanks to Ocean Tyres Gladstone fir the use of the marquee.

Spent this weekend competing at an event we never thought we would do.... Addictive Events Road Trip Drag Challenge at Warwick Dragway. What an amazing event!! We came along for the experience and took home the win!! Number 1 all 3 days with a 6.503, 6.5002 and a 6.53. The XY handled every part well.

Massive thanks to Mick and Jane for having us, the Addictive Events crew, Matty Junga Loy and the Warwick Dragway team for a seamless event.

Huge shoutout to Neil Ward from Warflow Cylinder Heads and Warflow Performance, without the killer combo, we wouldn't kick the goals we do.
