Why don’t we make more kits for JDM cars?

Chris loves JDM cars and has owned plenty over the years, so it’s definitely not because we don’t want to.

The challenge is that a lot of JDM cars have been around for years and can come with multiple factory bumpers, different trim levels, facelift models and countless aftermarket bumpers. and lips that people use. That makes it extremely difficult for us to design and properly test a kit that we know will fit everyone’s car.

We’d rather not release something unless we’re confident in the fitment and quality.

We’re always looking at ways to expand the JDM range, and hopefully one day we can support a lot more of them.

Why do some of our splitter kits have chassis mounts and others don’t?

It comes down to how strong the factory bumper is.

👉 If the bumper and factory mounting points are strong enough, there’s no need for additional support. But on cars where the bumper isn’t strong enough, we engineer chassis mounts to give the splitter the support it needs.

This means the splitter isn’t relying on weak factory plastics, creating a stronger and more secure setup that’s built to last. Every Flow Designs kit is engineered specifically for the car, if it needs chassis support, we add it. If it doesn’t, we don’t.
