10 years later…

10 years ago I bought this truck and left a well paying mining job to see if I could make a small mechanical business work and to spend more time with my family.

Note to self, if you want to spend more time at home, don’t start your own business.

Thank you to every customer so far for the trust you’ve shown in us to look after your car, ute, truck, motorbike, tractor, excavator, bulldozer mower, chainsaw or anything actually. We love fixing all of them and without your support, we wouldn’t still be here.

Thank you to the people that have been employed at AMS Mechanical Solutions over the years. I have a strong focus on making sure the skills I’ve learnt from all the blokes that taught me over my lifetime dont go missing and thats why we put so much emphasis on our employees and our customers reap the benefit of that. We have a great team of 6 motivated individuals that strive to do/make/create magic for our customers every day and they do a fantastic job of it.

Watch this space for the 20 year anniversary.

I’d like to take a moment to thank the boys for all their help this year. We’ve had a massive year with new equipment, new jobs and just generally heaps on. Everyone has gone above and beyond just because they are good people and I can’t thank them enough.

To Shannon, thank you for all the support and sacrifices to get the paperwork done and for keeping me onto it as well because she knows it’s not my strong suit.

To our customers, thank you for trusting us with your cars, Utes, trucks, tractors, machinery, fixed plant and everything great and small that we enjoy working on. Again, the boys have just rolled with it and got stuck in to keep everyone moving.

Merry Christmas and we look forward to supporting whatever mechanical drama, service or repair you might have in 2026.
