Our team have left the scene.
Crash investigation are on site and conducting their investigations.
Road is expected to remain closed for a couple more hours while this takes place and contractors remove and clean up the scene

Last night Jayd & Bretto were called to the Kings Highway Clyde mountain for an MVA involving a small rigid truck. On arrival a loaded 4.5T pantech had collied with the guard rail and rolled on the top hairpin above the overtaking lanes.

The vehicle had sustained extensive damage to the front drivers side of the cabin. Ambulance crews assessed the driver and thankfully he was uninjured.

Due to the steep terrain, Brett’s truck was used during the recovery to secure the truck and make sure it was not able to roll away once uprighted.

Jayds truck being used to “stand up” the casualty. Slow and steady was the approach, given the load inside and its ability to move around while being uprighted.
If done wrong there is the risk the casualty could roll back over. The tilt tray then repositioning to load the pantech on to the tray.
