Next up in our 2026 Convention & Expo highlights are the Pentana Solutions Expo Live Stage presentations.

The Live Stage was buzzing across both days of the Expo, with packed crowds turning out for all 10 sessions. Attendees heard practical insights from industry experts on topics including customer experience, AI, cybersecurity, EV charging, finance, insurance, transport, service operations and emerging technologies helping dealerships improve efficiency and drive growth.

A big thank you to all of our Live Stage presenters and to Pentana Solutions for supporting this fantastic aspect of the expo floor. It was great to see so many delegates making the most of these informative and highly engaging sessions.

We're sharing some highlights from last week's 2026 AADA Convention & Expo from Sydney, beginning with our Main Stage sessions.

Across two days, delegates heard from an outstanding lineup of industry leaders and experts covering everything from the future of automotive retail and growing used car operations, to global market challenges, customer retention, leadership, strategy and the opportunities AI presents for dealerships. We also heard from AADA CEO James Voortman on the work the AADA is doing to advocate for franchised new car dealers across Australia.

And finally, our third 2026 AADA Lifetime Achievement Award this week went to another regional dealer, Woodleys Motors.

For more than a century, Woodleys has been a cornerstone of the Tamworth community, growing from a small upholstery business into one of regional Australia's leading dealership groups. Across generations, the business has remained committed to innovation, road safety and serving its community.

Congratulations to Lanhams Motor Group, our second recipient of a 2026 AADA Lifetime Achievement Award this week.

From humble beginnings in Leeton in 1937, three generations of the Lanham family have built one of regional Australia's most respected dealer groups. Their enduring commitment to customers, staff and community is a testament to the strength of family-owned automotive businesses.

Day 1 of the 2026 AADA Convention & Expo is off and running! Bestselling author Michael McQueen kicked things off bright and early this morning at the Auto-IT Opening Breakfast talking about thinking tides not waves in business and life.

Attendees then had the opportunity to see the Pentana Solutions Expo Live Stage in action which was standing room only for many of the presenters. There was also plenty of time to spend working their way around the expo floor.
