Wow! Great weekend racing at Ardlethan Round 3.. Well done to Mx Trucks Ardlethan and all the helpers. Special mention to Nord for being awarded the Jim Shepp award for his massive efforts!

There were fierce battles throughout the pack with Clint beating Jono by only half a point! (the final race is worth 1.5x points)

1st Jed - 183 points
2nd Steve - 175.5
3rd Buddy - 161.5
4th Clint - 156
5th Jono - 155.5
6th Matt - 145
7th Jess - 130.5

Jess had random issues with her normally zero issues truck which we all worked on and couldn't solve so Jess drove Trav's truck for Saturday.
Jed's truck developed issues and couldn't run for the final so Jed drove Trav's truck.
We are all in discussions about which way we want to apply rules regarding driving someone else's truck if yours breaks down..

Steve and Jed are in a serious battle for the championship win and the others aren't far behind.
If Jed didn't drive Trav's truck in the final - Steve would have won the event.

After liaison with Jed and Steve we have agreed to apply a national point penalty of minus 1.5 points to Jed.
This recreates the national position Steve would be in if he had won Ardlethan Rnd 3.

Our national points are applied at the end of each round whereby 1st = 20 national points, 2nd = 19 national points and so on..
The final race of the year (which is Loveday SA round 4 ... 21/22 November) is awarded 1.5 x points because it is the final round.

This is an opportunity for competitors to make up ground and potentially leap frog one another.

Every heat race counts towards your event finishing position which has proven to be true since we started using this point system and it keeps competitors close.

The final race at Loveday - November 21/22 is shaping up to be a cracker!!!

Its on between Steve and Jed yet Buddy and the others could leap frog them depending how it all pans out..

Only 2 points between Clint, Jono and Jess.

The others had missed a round or 2 yet will be back in the racing to fight for positions and the remaining points..

Rob Cowie is returning to race Trav's truck.
Rob is super fast and will be attacking Steve and Jed!
