Today we had Leon from Maxtrax visit us to walk through the rig setup, giving a hands-on demonstration of their latest products and exactly how they’re designed to be used in real recovery situations. They took us step-by-step through their system, explaining mounting options, load ratings, recovery techniques, and practical tips for different terrains. We also got an inside look at their new product releases, including how each integrates into a touring or off-road setup to improve safety, efficiency, and ease of use. It was a valuable session packed with expert knowledge, real-world applications, and plenty of opportunity to ask questions and see everything in action.

Today we had a visit from Custom Lithium, an Aussie battery company known for producing high-quality lithium batteries for the leisure 4wd industry right here in Australia. Their batteries are designed to fit most vehicles, making them a versatile and practical power solution for a wide range of applications. We discussed the design and manufacturing process behind their products, as well as the advantages of lithium battery technology, including efficiency, reliability, and long service life.
The visit provided valuable insight into how modern battery solutions are being developed to meet the demands of today’s vehicles and equipment, the range covers capacities from 100 Ah through to 1250Ah and covers slim, ultraslim, and compact configurations. There is also an exiting range of vehicle specific batteries designed to fit in existing locations minimizing modification required to install Auxiliary power and keeping weight added to a minimum.
