🔧 VOLVO EC220DL | LOW POWER & MISFIRE

Another excavator diagnosed and repaired by TJC Auto Electrics! ⚡

Attended a Volvo EC220DL experiencing low power and misfiring issues.

🔍 Diagnostic testing identified an active injector 2 open-circuit fault code.

Further inspection located a broken wire to the injector, which was repaired and successfully tested. ✅

🔧 HITACHI ZX240-3 | CRANKS BUT WON'T START

Another heavy machinery fault diagnosed and repaired by TJC Auto Electrics! ⚡

We attended a Hitachi ZX240-3 excavator experiencing a crank-but-no-start issue.

🔍 DIAGNOSIS & FAULT FINDING

Following initial testing, faulty batteries were identified and replaced.

Using our Jaltest diagnostic equipment, we identified an active camshaft position sensor fault code.

Further testing confirmed the wiring back to the sensor was functioning correctly. However, closer inspection revealed damaged wiring in the sensor pigtail.

🔧 REPAIRS COMPLETED

✅ Faulty batteries replaced
✅ Camshaft position sensor fault diagnosed
✅ Damaged sensor wiring identified
✅ Sensor and pigtail replaced
✅ Final testing completed successfully

Another fault located, repaired and machine back up and running! 💪

Another week, another protected customer! 🔐

This brand new 2026 Nissan Patrol Y62 came in for an IGLA immobiliser, adding another layer of protection without changing the look or everyday use of the vehicle.

IGLA stays completely hidden and requires the owner’s unique PIN through the factory controls before the Patrol can be driven, even if someone has the keys.

🔧 FAULT FOUND | Kenworth K104
This Kenworth K104 was blowing ECM fuses, so it was time to find out why.
After tracing the fault, we found a chafed wiring loom near the accelerator pedal. The wiring had been rubbing over time, eventually causing the electrical fault and blowing the ECM fuse.
It's a good example of why replacing a blown fuse isn't always the fix - finding what caused it to blow is the important part.
