⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Celebrating 6 YEARS of keeping Rockingham’s young drivers safe! 😀👍🚗
I can't believe it has been six years this week since I first set up as a driving instructor here in Rockingham!
Over the last 6 years, I’ve had the privilege of helping hundreds of local young people ditch their L plates, pass their PDAs at the Rockingham Licensing Centre, and gain their independence.
For those who are new to my page, here is a bit about my background:
Before making WA my home, I spent 30 years serving as a police officer in the UK, spending my final 10 years of service as a Detective Inspector.
During my career, I completed advanced police driver training, scoring 68 out of 69 under the British Roadcraft system.
When you book a lesson with me, I bring that focus on risk-awareness and vehicle control into the passenger seat to help your son or daughter become a genuinely safe driver.
📍 Manual Instruction: I teach exclusively in a manual vehicle. I know learning to manage the clutch and gears can be stressful, so I specialise in breaking it down simply until it becomes second nature.
📍 Local Knowledge: After 6 years of instructing here, I know the local Rockingham roads, intersections, and speed zones inside out.
📍 Fixing Common Habits: Mums and Dads do a fantastic job, but it is easy to pass down habits like coasting, steering errors, or missed blind spots. I help smooth these out before test day.
📍 A Calm Environment: My cabin is completely relaxed and patient. If a student is nervous about stalling or managing traffic, this is a safe space to learn.
📍 Skills for Life: My goal is to ensure your sons and daughters stay safe on our roads long after they pass their test and drive away alone.
To all the parents, guardians and students who have trusted me over the last 6 years—thank you for your faith, recommendations, and the wonderful chats.
And to the next generation of manual drivers ready to start your hours, let’s get moving!
