UWAM - UWA Motorsport Team is a student-led team at the UWA that designs, builds and races electric Formula SAE vehicles in one of the world’s largest student engineering competitions. Teams are challenged to design, manufacture and race a prototype vehicle while also demonstrating it’s cost effectiveness and business viability.
It provides hands-on experience in engineering, innovation, finance, marketing and project management which help students develop the practical skills needed for future careers while advancing sustainable vehicle technology.
The money donated by Big Rock Toyota will help fund vehicle development and competition costs, supporting students as they represent WA in international-standard engineering competitions.
