Remember to tie down your awnings this time of year! You never know when a storm is going to sweep through.

For electric awnings, we recommend vertical support poles and tying the awning down. It is a good idea to then install curved rafters to allow water to run off properly and prevent pooling!

Electrolysis is often caused by water or moisture getting trapped on the back of the aluminium cladding and a reaction occurs where the cladding is touching another metal. Quick video showing water damage that can occur to a timber frame caravan. This Galaxy Caravan van copped a quick bump and when we started repairing it, we discovered there was no structural timber frame left in the front end. So've we've been in and replaced all of the rotten timber. This is often caused by not keeping an eye on external sealants and water slowly but surely seeps in and does this damage.
