There’s nothing quite like the sound of a classic Rover 3.9L V8, and this week, our team member Angus—affectionately known around the shop as "Ace"—has been getting some quality hands-on experience under the hood of this beauty.

At Amax Automotive, classic vehicle repairs and servicing are a massive part of what we do. We truly believe it’s our duty to pass the torch and keep these traditional trade skills alive.

Unlike most of the younger crowd today, Ace genuinely understands the fundamentals of early systems and classic engine layouts. From tuning older fuel setups to understanding mechanical geometry, he’s proving that the fine art of classic mechanics is in safe hands.
