David Calleja Memorial Car Show

With the uncertainty around COVID 19 and the changes to Bacchus Marsh Hospital this year, we will not be holding the David Calleja Memorial Car Show in 2022. We plan to be back bigger and better than ever in 2023.

We hope to partner with Western Health to deliver the 2023 show and and will be reaching out to page members in the new year to begin planning for 2023.

Unfortunately we are CANCELLING the 2021 David Calleja Memorial Car Show due to the uncertainty of the COVID-19 pandemic.

With the requirements needed for large scale events in Victoria "Bacchus Marsh Wings, Wheels and Coffee" will run their event on this day - Sunday 7th Feb 2021 at the Bacchus Marsh airfield.

Will provide a link to their page when available.

The David Calleja Memorial Car Show on February 2020 was such an awesome event to attend, they ended up raising over $60,000 for the Djerriwarrh Health Services on the day!

It started off a bit slow because of the weather on Saturday scared a few back but as soon as the sun came out, the cars started to really roll in.

I managed to take a lot more photos than what I thought I would have and I hope you enjoy the photos!

The David Calleja Memorial Car Show was established through the family of a long-time benefactor of the hospital, Mr David Calleja. David was an influential local businessman with significant pride for his community. After his untimely death in late 2004, the family decided that they would continue with David’s wish in assisting the health service he supported and attended. David was an avid car collector and had a significant stable of rare and unique cars, which the family provided as an initial attraction for the car show.
