Let me introduce myself!
My name is Daniel John Wilson
I am a born and bred Burdekin bloke. I am a Light Vehicle Mechanic by Trade and love anything with wheels on it!
Over the past six months, Iโve designed, built, and published Your Local Marketplace โ a local Marketplace and Business Directory app created to help our small businesses thrive and make it easier for locals to discover whatโs available right here in our community.

The app is perfect for locals, new residents, and visitors passing through the region. Itโs also a great way to stay connected with local businesses, trades, services, jobs, sporting clubs, community groups, and hire equipment โ all without needing social media.

For a limited time, the app costs a ONE-TIME payment of just 99 CENTS processed securely through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
In the future, the app may move to a 99 CENT per month subscription model, however anyone who purchases the app during this launch period will continue to have FULL access with no subscription required. ๐
The small fee helps cover the ongoing costs of running, maintaining, and improving the platform while allowing me to keep local business listings, specials, promotions, and community information FREE to list and FREE to PROMOTE.
This project has been completely self-funded, with a significant amount invested in development and countless unpaid hours spent building it while working a full-time Mechanic day job , being a dad, A partner and spending time with my family outside of work.
My goal is simple:
