This vehicle was used in the filming of The Rockford Files and was driven by James Garner. In addition to the car we have a number of personal items from James Garner given to us by his Daughter Gigi. Our aim is to preserve this car as an important piece of TV history.

The time has come, after 11 years The Rockford Files Firebird is returning to the USA.
As a young kid, watching The Rockford Files was not a rite, but a reward, to be able to stay up late (830Pm) and watching the show with my Dad was a terrific part of my childhood. To eventually own this car and the memorabilia was something I could have never dreamed of. I am very pleased that the car is going to John, someone who is around my age and is a huge fan of James Garner and the show.
I wish John all the best, he is taking over this account and the Rockford Files Firebird page to continue to share the story of this special car.

Well we are delighted to say the Rockford Files Firebird and Memorabilia from Mr Garners private collection has been sold by Retro Rides Auctions in Australia. The collection is heading back to the USA to its new owner in Michigan.

An important announcement for Rockford Files fans!
I have made the tough decision to sell the Rockford Files Firebird I purchased from Mecum Kisemmee in Feb 2015 plus my extensive Garner/Rockford original items. Respectfully they will not be separated.

In addition Mr Garners Daughter Gigi provided to me Mr Garners Original Rockford Files Spray Jacket worn by him at golf regularly, a custom coloured shirt, Rockford Tshirt and Sport Jacket said to have been worn in the 1990's movies.
