Thursday 3rd September @ the Lara Hotel. Dinner from 6pm and meeting will commence around 7pm. All welcome to attend. Please let me know by comment or message if you are coming along so I can adjust numbers.

Thanks to all that have pre-registered, If you forgot, thats ok theres still time, Registrations close tonight @7 and you can register on the day!

Shout out to Lara Quality Meats for supplying yet another great meat tray to raffle off.
$2 per ticket or 3 for $5

Sausage Sizzle will be available for lunch, $2.50 for a snag in bread & $2.50 per drink (while stock lasts)

Format for Sundays race meet - Kidney Track

8:00 – Gates Open
8:30 – Sign on for drivers and Marshals
8:30 to 9:15 – Scrutineer checks karts
9:00 – Marshalls briefing
9:15 – Welcome, followed by drivers briefing/ presentation
10:00– Driving on track
Practice (Anti clockwise)
(5 min break for flag marshal change)
Heat 1 (random draw, Clockwise)
(5 min break for flag marshal change)
Heat 2 (reverse random draw, Anti clockwise)
12:00 – Lunch Break
12:30 – Heat 3 (points from heats 1 & 2 grid, Clockwise)
(5 min break for flag marshal change)
Final (points from heats 1, 2, 3, Anti Clockwise)
3:30 – Racing finishes –

Please note, event registration will close Friday the 29thth at 7pm, dont worry though, if you dont get your nomination in, you can do this on the day you will just run in the last positions for the first two heats.

DATE CHANGES - PLEASE SEE PINNED POST FOR THE UPDATES!

Unfortunately, due to the forecast of heavy rain and strong winds, we've made the difficult decision to cancel this weekend's race meeting.

The safety of our drivers, officials, volunteers and spectators is always our number one priority, and the expected weather conditions would make racing unsafe.

We know this is disappointing, but we appreciate everyone's understanding. Keep an eye on our page for updates regarding our next race meeting and any rescheduled dates.

🚩 Volunteers Needed – We Can't Race Without You! 🚩

Did you know that every race meeting at the Avalon Fun Kart Club relies on volunteers to safely operate our marshal boxes?

Our marshals are the eyes and ears of the track. They wave flags, keep an eye on incidents, and help ensure every driver gets home safely. Without enough volunteers in the marshal boxes, we simply can't race.

You don't need any experience—we'll show you everything you need to know. It's a great way to get involved and support our amazing club and its racers.

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, family member, friend, over the age of 16 or just someone who enjoys being part of race day, we'd love to have you lend a hand. Even volunteering for part of the day makes a huge difference.

Our club is built by volunteers, and every person who helps keeps our family-friendly sport running smoothly each race day.

If you're willing to help out on the day, please see one of our comittee members (red officals vest) we will show you the ropes and make sure you are comfortable with the role.

💙 Many hands make light work.
🏁 No volunteers = No racing.

Thank you to everyone who already gives up their time to keep the Avalon Fun Kart Club running smoothly on race days —we couldn't do it without you!
