Hybrid cars aren’t same as electric vehicle. They are heavily depends on combustion engines and behave similar to a petrol engines.

1. Center of Gravity & Body Roll

BEV: Battery packs sit low in the floor pan between the axles, giving BEVs a significantly lower center of gravity. Body roll through corners is minimal, but the extra overall curb weight (often 300–500 kg heavier than equivalent ICE vehicles) increases lateral inertia, making momentum management critical.

Hybrid: Weight distribution resembles a standard combustion car, with a heavier engine upfront and a small battery pack in the rear or under seats. Center of gravity is higher, resulting in more conventional body roll dynamics during rapid directional changes.

2. Power Delivery & Throttle Modulation

BEV: Delivers 100% instantaneous torque from zero RPM without gear shifts. Modulating the accelerator requires finer control—sudden inputs instantly unstick tires, triggering traction control interventions faster than in traditional powertrains.

Hybrid: Power toggles between an electric motor, an internal combustion engine (ICE), or a combination of both. Throttle response varies depending on battery charge state, gear changing (if equipped with eCVT or multi-speed auto), and whether the gas engine needs time to kick in under hard acceleration.

3. Braking & Weight Transfer

BEV: Features strong regenerative braking (often single-pedal driving modes). Lift-off oversteer or forward weight transfer happens immediately when lifting off the accelerator, rapidly loading up the front tires before applying the physical brake pedal.

Hybrid: Uses blended braking (regen transitions to hydraulic friction brakes). Pedal feel can be less linear or slightly spongy as the vehicle switches between energy recovery and mechanical pad compression.

Dear Valued Learners,

As many of you know, we recently had to undergo a medical procedure, which meant closing the business for almost a week. We are now gradually getting back on the road.

Until the end of this week, we are operating at minimum capacity and prioritising learners who have their driving tests coming up soon.

From next week, we will be back to normal operations and will accommodate as many lessons as possible. However, the temporary closure has created some backlog and increased demand, so please bear with us as we work through the schedule.
