The AVWPS Summer Twilight Picnic will include food trucks, market stalls & plenty of live music & entertainment for the whole family.

It is with great disappointment that we need to let you know that the Twilight Picnic event next week is postponed due to concerns around coronavirus and public gatherings.

While current advice does not require that events be cancelled, our view is that the situation is changing quickly and that the best course of action is to take this decision now and give maximum notice to everyone involved, rather than waiting until the last minute when a change in advice may have made postponement inevitable.

We’re hugely disappointed to postpone, and we know that you will be too. We hope to run this event later this year, ideally in spring or summer, but we can’t get a firm date yet until we see how things play out from a public health perspective.

We are looking forward to being able to reschedule this fantastic event once these unprecedented issues are resolved, stay well, and we look forward to welcoming you and your families at that time.

They're not just good for wine - they are great for the kids to use outside for ice-cream, yoghurt or fruit, and perfect for individual desserts straight from the oven (self saucing puddings do VERY well in these!).

Rounding out our food truck options is the tasty local fave, Pizza to U! They are a family-run operation based out of Moonee Ponds and they're bringing us wholesome, affordable, freshly prepared wood-fired pizza including Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Vegan options.

Yum! We're looking forward to welcoming this ice cream truck with a difference! Billy van Creamy is committed to sustainability and limiting environmental impact, sourcing organic ingredients from small producers, and limiting waste by offering tasters using stainless steel spoons, ceramic cups to dine-in, and ‘BYO container’ for takeaway.
They don't just make ie cream the old school way, Billy van Creamy also offers creamy vegan flavours churned with their own cashew and coconut milk blend. Delicious!
