It’s been a seriously busy time in the workshop with our amazing Technician team working through some major jobs. Some examples below -

🔧 Audi A7 3.0 TDI — Full Valley Leak Repair with Front Plate Reseal.
🔧 Audi S7 4.0TT — Long Block Replacement
🔧 VW Golf R Mk7 — Full Engine Replacement

Big jobs like these take experience, precision and a team that know German vehicles inside and out.

Dominates at the track… driven every day! Our Workshop Manager, Joel at the track in his Special Edition Golf R. We use Galano Engineering to ensure the perfect balance of serious performance, reliability and every day drivability.

Rick who is a long term customer of ours, travelled all the way down from West of Toowoomba in his VW Golf GTI ED40 for an upgrade from Galano Stage 2 98 to Galano Stage 3 Flex.

During this visit we fitted the following -

☑ Galano ProFuel Low Pressure Fuel Pump
☑ Galano ProFuel Fuel Pump Controller Kit
☑ Galano Profuel Fuel Rail And Line Kit.
☑ Galano 54R Turbocharger
☑ Galano 5 Bar Map Sensor Kit
☑ Autotech High Pressure Fuel Pump Kit
☑ Blaze Performance Intake Kit

Safe to say this is one spicy unit and with the several year old Bridgestone tyres on the front, our dyno room quickly turned into a smoke show when the Galano 54R turbo came on song. Rest assured, Rick will be back in the future with sticky rubber to get the power down.

🏁 WORKSHOP CLOSED – FRIDAY 25TH SEPTEMBER 2026 🏁

Our workshop will be closed this Friday 25th September 2026 as our workshop cars and team head to Warwick Dragway for the 20th Anniversary VW Drag Event!

Our GAD/Galano Flex Golf R’s will be hitting the track in the 1/8-mile drag event, alongside several of our Galano customers.

If you’re a fan of early and late-model VW’s, it is definitely worth the drive out to Warwick! Come and check out some seriously cool VW’s, great cars and plenty of action on the track.

A very clean 8Y S3 back with us for some more performance upgrades to complement the Milltek catback exhaust previously fitted.

This visit it received the following upgrades -

* Unitronic Stage 1 ECU upgrade
* Eventuri intake
* Wagner Tuning intercooler with upgraded hoses

More airflow. Better charge cooling. More power. More performance!

First outing for the new Shop Golf R build… and what a way to kick things off!

We had to pull some power out of it just to get the thing to put it down, but it still managed to crack a 10-second pass.

Best part? Driven to the track, ran a 10, then driven home — all through peak-hour traffic. 😎

This is only the beginning. There’s plenty more left in it. 👀
