Check out this increible project from our friends at

"We'd just finished fitting a full electric drivetrain to a customer's Porsche 911 Targa. Weight and balance were in line with the factory car, the brake hardware was brand new OEM all round, and yet the pedal felt heavy and uninspiring," says Ranald Young, Mechanical Lead, Jaunt.

"An electric throttle needs barely any effort, and with regen doing part of the braking, our builds want a light, intuitive pedal. This one didn't have it. The problem was cold bite, or the lack of it.

"Josh and the team at V-Sport were confident a different pad compound would get us there. The pads landed quickly, went straight on, and transformed the car. The first press of the pedal now matches the rest of the drive.

"The next brake puzzle in the workshop is a Mercedes 190 SL that's still on drums.

"Watch this space."

V-Sport GR Yaris @ SMSP - 1:38.06

Last night we took our GR Yaris to SMSP for a test night after Aus Time Attack to see what it could do. Running on the used Bridgestone RE71RZ tyres we used at Winton, we were able to set a 1:38.06, making a low 1:37 on new tyres a very real possibility.

Car is feeling the best it has ever felt and we're looking forward to World Time Attack Challenge in September.
