Another TeamCorse build to meet CAMS 2B regulations.
This was its first test in Aug 2008, where it ran a 1:28.5 with John Bowe at the wheel, which was 1.5secs under the V8SC lap record at the time. This was on its second flying lap on fresh tyres. JB pitted thinking the lap timer was faulty. Then parked it up when realising it wasn’t.

A beautiful little Lotus Elan 26R we completed a full rebuild on back in 2013.
Tragically, on its 3rd outing the car was destroyed when a car in front dropped a bundle of oil, when a dodgy oil fitting let go.

We are seeking to employ a talented & passionate race car fabricator.

The applicant needs to be skilled in TIG welding, machining & metal fabrication. With experience in automotive engineering & has attention to detail.

Work carried out in the shop includes restoration & modification of high end road & race cars. (Everything except for paint/panel repairs & trim work)

Corse has been in operation for 28 years & is respected within the industry.

The workshop is always full of an eclectic range of cars that belong to passionate & fastidious clients who like things done nicely.

You will work with other talented tradespeople with skills in other fields in a very well equipped & clean premises.

A recently completed Mechanical restoration of a 246 Dino by Team Corse. We gave it a few tweeks to improve HP & torque along with correcting leverage angles of pedals, modifying the steering position etc collectively made a huge imrovement, now an absolute gem in every way.

Back dated 964, fitted with a watercooled GT3 engine & 6 speed transmission, multiple throttle, Motec M150, DBW throttle, Ohlins suspension etc etc. A beautiful road car with plenty of power...something different!
