This customer’s original engine suffered a timing chain failure and had to be written off.
They sourced a used replacement engine — but when it arrived at Pontus,
our inspection revealed it was a flooded engine. 💧
Externally it looked fine, but internally it was rusted and unsafe to use.

👉 We combined usable parts from both engines —
good components from the original engine,
and salvageable ones from the flooded unit —

🚗💥 Hyundai Veloster SR – rare catastrophic failure!

This Veloster SR suffered an extremely unusual problem:
⚠️ The connecting rod blew through the engine block
⚠️ And in the process, it also damaged the starter motor
