It was a pleasure to welcome PACCAR Australia Managing Director Damian Smethurst to our Ararat head office.

With a partnership spanning more than 45 years, it was a fantastic opportunity for Damian to catch up with AME Systems Managing Director Nick Carthew and meet more of our team.

Damian also took the time to answer questions from our employees, share what the future holds for Kenworth trucks and explain how the electrical harnesses we manufacture make a real difference to the end customer and the wider Kenworth family. KENWORTH Australia

We were pleased to welcome The Honourable Richard Welch MP and Jo Armstrong for Ripon to our Ararat facilities.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to showcase our operations, discuss the work we are doing and share insights into the capability and dedication of our team. We were also proud to provide a behind-the-scenes look at our Head Office and dedicated Aerospace and Defence facility.
The visit highlighted the importance of strong government policy and ongoing support for Australian manufacturing particularly as businesses continue to navigate an increasingly challenging global environment.
We appreciated the opportunity to demonstrate the vital role local manufacturing plays in supporting jobs and economic growth across regional Victoria.

Last Friday we welcomed representatives from KENWORTH Australia to our Ararat Head Office for a behind-the-scenes look at how their wire harnesses are processed across all areas of our factory each day. Our team was incredibly proud to showcase the work we do in building world-class wiring harnesses, highlighting the skill, care and commitment that goes into every stage of production.

Kenworth also brought along three brand new trucks, giving the AME Systems team a fantastic opportunity to see how our work directly connects to the final product on the road.

It was a great day of collaboration, learning and shared pride reinforcing the strength of our partnership over more than 45 years.
