Automatic transmission servicing is normally overlooked by vehicle owners. Actually most manufacturers these days dont even recommend a service interval for Automatic transmissions. However, transmissions that aren't checked and serviced can potentially fail without regular maintenance.
All transmissions are a serviceable part of your vehicles drive line.
R&D AUTOTECH recommend servicing at least every 80k km or as per manufacturers specifications.

Is your diesel engine smoking while idling at the MacDonald's drive thru, gassing out other customers. There is a possibility that your Turbochargers bearings are excessively worn causing oil to pass the turbine seals and leak into your intake and exhaust causing oil smoke.

Unfortunately I wasnt driving a race car, rather repairing fuel leaks on Wanneroo Raceway tractor so other people can have fun 😂😛

This week I broke out the 3/4 drive tools to install a new clutch and brake piston seals on this Case CX60 tractor in Wanneroo. Performed a engine service and it was back out in the paddock doing what tractors do best 🚜🏜

Subaru outback diesel EE20 engine.
Customer complaint was excessive black smoke under acceleration.
Vehicle still had a s**t load of power but boost pressure was still a little erratic.
With a turbo inspection, there where obvious signs of intake damage to the compressor wheel on the turbine shaft. Parts where unavailable to rebuild the turbo.
Unfortunately a new turbo was ex Japan 7-8 weeks. With a fair bit of hunting around. A Subaru dealer in Melbourne had 1 left. Saved the customer allot of time and money.

Arrived to this job over the weekend. Mack E7 E-TEC engine blowing more white smoke than steam train. Upon inspection, the engine was miss firing and could possibly trace it down to cylinder number 1.
Customer and myself both agreed to remove the injectors and test them before we go any further. I was able to test the injectors on site after removal and found cylinder 1 injector nozzle had split in half.
A quick call for parts.
R&D Autotech serviced the injectors and the Mack was back on the road the next day.
