It was a privilege and a pleasure to host His Honour, the Administrator of the Northern Territory and Ms Ruth Jones for a walking tour of the Desert Knowledge Precinct. It was a wonderful opportunity to share the stories and vision of the Precinct, our current and future priorities.

It was a great opportunity to share the individual and collective work we are all doing in renewable energy, education, training, regional workforce development, the space industry and more.

The Garden of Reflection is open to all residents of Mparntwe / Alice Springs.

Today is National Sorry Day - a time to pause and reflect on the trauma, loss and impact caused by Australia’s historical systematic child removal policies.

It’s also important to acknowledge the strength and resilience of the Stolen Generations survivors, as well as the need for healing – individually and collectively.

The Garden of Reflection of Desert Knowledge Precinct was created to be a living memorial of the Stolen Generations in Central Australia - a place for quiet reflection and peaceful contemplation about this time in our history.
