There’s something pretty special about watching a storm roll across the vast Tanami landscape. Dark clouds, flashes of lightning and a front-row seat to nature at its finest!

Don’t let the tough exterior fool you! This little Thorny Devil is completely harmless… unless you’re an ant! 🐜😂

With a face only a mother could love and a body full of spikes, this prehistoric-looking little character is perfectly at home in the Tanami Desert. ❤️🌵

🌼🌾 Well, look who’s showing off! 🌾🌼

A bit of rain, a splash of sunshine and suddenly the desert’s decided to get all dressed up. 💛

Wildflowers are popping up everywhere, grasses are blooming and there’s colour appearing in places that not long ago were just red dirt and dust.

Just another little reminder that the desert is full of surprises. 🌼🌿

Not to brag… but we do mornings AND evenings pretty well out here. 😏🌅

Sunrise rolls in, sunset shows off… and somewhere in between we get a bit of work done. 😂

🎥 OUTBACK TRUCKERS AT TILMOUTH WELL! 🚛🌵

We’ve had a bit of TV action at Tilmouth Well over the past couple of nights!

The crew from Outback Truckers stayed with us while they follow truckie Russell on his run along the legendary Tanami, while they capture what life on one of Australia’s most iconic outback routes is really like. 🚛💨

Thanks for choosing Tilmouth Well as your home in the desert for a few nights — we loved having you! ❤️

Keep an eye out… you might just spot a familiar roadhouse when the episode hits the screen! 👀📺

🏁 Fun times at Tilmouth Well!

We had the absolute pleasure of welcoming the Endurance Rally Club of Australia to Tilmouth Well — and what a fantastic bunch they were!

Great cars, awesome guests and a dining room full of personality. 😄

There’s something pretty special about seeing these classic rally cars lined up outside in the middle of the outback, while their drivers and crews settle in for a good feed and a well-earned break.

Thanks for stopping in and spending the evening with us. You were an absolute hoot and we loved having you! ❤️

Safe travels, enjoy the adventure and we hope our paths cross again somewhere down the track. 🚗💨🏜️
