Not much surprises us but it was a top 5 memorable day - in particular for our fitter when hopping in to the drivers seat and bouncing straight back out after being prickled... further investigation found one of natures shy creatures hiding under the seat. Yes, a live ECHIDNA this week.

Good deed.... It's 40* at 1pm on Saturday and this elderly lady barefooted it across the bitumen to a shady spot beside my fence. Checked if she's OK, no probs but have you got shoes? Found a pair of pink sandals destined for the bin, size 9, good tread. Passed them thru. Thankyou, thankyou as her little size 6's slid in and she was away... couldn't wait to show the mob how they matched her beanie!
