🔧 POSITION VACANT 🔧
We have a position to suit a mature car or truck mechanic wanting to gain experience in transport refrigeration.
A car mechanic would be offered to retrain in heavy vehicle repairs and also refrigeration training with our corporate partners.
This position is also open to the right 3rd or 4th year apprentice or suitable mature person with a high level of mechanical aptitude.
The person we are looking for would need to be self motivated, capable of diagnosing mechanical, electrical and refrigeration problems. (There is ongoing support to help train the right person to understand these three main parts of their job description.)
We aim to have a supportive environment that allows everyone to learn and enjoy their job description. Age no barrier.
The Basic Skills we are looking for is a solid knowledge of tools and basic mechanical understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.�
Above all we are looking for a willingness to learn and apply themselves to a very specialised part of the transport industry that can give the right person an enjoyable and rewarding career.
