I fitted up the door windows and quarter vents recently, full restoration with rubber, and channels..

There's an issue...

Some major work to rectify historical issues..

I'm sh****ng myself, but hopefully can fix something that should have been done before the car was painted.

Here's a wee job I finished the other day....

A custom sump for a V8 engine conversion.

Mazda RX, now sporting a Toyota V8... The rear of the sump was going to foul the cross member, so it was removed for clearance. In doing so, it took about 1.1L of volume out of the sump, so...
I had to put it back in... There's plenty room in front, so I fabricated a little zigzag plate to make it look like the original.
Lots of time involved in getting it nice, it was bolted to the 1/2" plate bench, to keep the gasket fl**ge true whilst welding, a little bit at a time....
It worked well, there was minimal, to zero distortion, which was the most important part of the job.
The oil pick up also had to be repositioned (not pictured) which actually took a fair bit of time at the owners garage over a few weekends...

We won ! A very minor piece in the grand scheme of things, but in some respects, one of the most important parts of the conversion.

Soon to be kicked in the guts.

If you're having issues with a custom build, of any description, feel free to contact me, I can help you out... πŸ˜ƒβœŠπŸ‘

I've been doing a heap of stainless steel mouldings recently, this one was quite challenging....
It's double skinned on this edge, and I couldn't get to the back of it...
A wee weld, then a file, ready to sand, and sand, and sand, then polishing....
If you need any mouldings refurbished for your car, let me know, most are repairable, they come up nice....

I didn't get a before picture, but let me tell you, this was not in good shape...
It wasn't tied down in the back of the Ute, and it fell over...
Apparently not easy to find these days..
Some old Holden rocked box..
Anyone know what it's off .....
It's good now, need to check the oil cap fits, before paint...

Got a boat ?.....

Don't bring it to me πŸ˜‚

Part of my apprenticeship 35yrs ago, was fibreglass laminating, I have experience in mould making, and "plug" fabrication, for repairs, or one off custom work, I can help.....
It's not something I enjoy, but, if you need something done in GRP, let me know.
