P-01A is a dedicated primer designed to work with Modesta glass coatings, not just sit underneath them. It creates a dense bi-layer foundation that enhances gloss, depth, and reflection while significantly improving coating adhesion.
Glass coatings are extremely hard by nature and difficult to apply effectively in thicker, durable layers. P-01A acts as a bonding layer, similar to a crosslinker, allowing the coating to anchor properly to the paint and perform long-term. This primer-and-glass system is a highly advanced technique used by professional installers throughout Japan.
Formulated from a resin closely related to automotive paint chemistry, P-01A can form a layer up to 10 microns thick. It refines the surface by filling minor imperfections without aggressive cutting, helping achieve a flawless finish and even removing light holograms.
