Looking to kick-start your career in the automotive industry? Albany City Motors is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Parts Person to join our busy parts department.
This is a great opportunity to learn new skills, gain hands-on experience and build a career in the automotive industry alongside an experienced and supportive team.
About the Role
You’ll assist with the daily operations of our parts department, supporting our workshop, service team, trade customers and retail customers.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering parts to trade customers.
- Receiving, checking and storing stock.
- Picking and preparing parts for workshop jobs and customer orders.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse.
- Assisting with stock control and inventory management.
- Helping customers with parts enquiries and sales.
- Building relationships with customers, suppliers and team members.
- Learning to identify and source parts across multiple brands.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work.
- Has good communication and customer service skills.
- Works well in a team and follows instructions.
- Has an interest in the automotive industry.
- Is comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
Previous parts experience is not essential. We value the right attitude, work ethic and enthusiasm to learn.
