🏁 BUSY BEE TODAY! 🏁

Our pre-season Busy Bee is on again today from 9:00am, and we need as many members as possible to come down and lend a hand!

We still have plenty to get through before the season starts, and even an hour of your time can make a huge difference. We will be providing lunch for all our busy bee helpers today 🌭🥪

Bring a jacket, gumboots, rakes, shovels, gloves, power tools, buckets, ute trays, cleaning gear and anything else you think might come in handy!

🔴 TRACK WALL – IMPORTANT
We need to scrape the foam and loose concrete from the wall and prepare it for painting. Please bring buckets, scrapers and an angle grinder if you have one.

🔴 TRACK WALK – IMPORTANT
We need to walk the track and pick up rubbish and debris. Please bring buckets and ute trays to help with the clean-up.

🧹 TOILETS
We need to clean the handicapper and back straight toilets.

🌿 TIDYING THE GROUNDS
Help us clear leaves and branches around the clubrooms and scrutineering shed, and tidy up the main driveway. Please bring rakes, gloves and ute trays.

There are plenty of other jobs to tackle around the grounds, too!

Every helping hand counts, so come down, get involved and help us get Attwell Park ready for another season of racing! 🏁

IT'S TIME TO GO RACING! 🏁

Our season opener is just around the corner! Join us at Albany Speedway on Saturday, 14th November, for an action-packed night of racing, proudly supported by our opening night naming rights sponsor, Kosters Steel Construction!

We’ll welcome the WA Speedcars for their South West Championship, Legend Cars for Round 3, KJB Juniors and all our support divisions for a huge night of racing!

Our KJB Juniors will also be looking to get plenty of track time under their belts as they prepare for their State Title, being held over three days: 15th April – Practice Afternoon, 16th & 17th April – State Title Racing

And with our new catch fence almost ready for action, there’s never been a better time to get trackside!

General Admission Gates Open: 3:00pm
On-Track Action: 5:00pm

Adults: $30
Concession: $15
Kids (12–16 years): $15
Kids under 12: FREE

🏁 THE TIME HAS COME – NOMINATIONS ARE NOW OPEN! 🏁

Our season opener is just around the corner, and we’re kicking things off with an action-packed night at Albany Speedway on Saturday, 14th November!

We’ll welcome the WA Speedcars for their South West Championship, Legend Cars for Round 3, KJB Juniors and all our support divisions for a huge night of racing!

Our KJB Juniors will also be looking to get plenty of track time under their belts as they prepare for their State Title in April

And with our new catch fence almost ready for the action, there’s never been a better time to get trackside!

BUSY BEES THIS SATURDAY & SUNDY 🐝

Our pre-season Busy Bee are happening again this weekend, and we need as many helping hands as possible to get everything ready for the season ahead!

UPCOMING BUSY BEE DATES:
- Saturday, 24th October – from 8:00 am
- Sunday, 25th October – from 9:00 am
- Saturday, 7th November – 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm, before practice
🥪 Lunch will be provided on both Saturday and Sunday, 24th and 25th October!

We’d love to see all our club members come down and help out at as many Busy Bees as possible. Can’t make any of these dates? No worries! PRACTICE DAY UPDATE - DATE CHANGE

Working alongside Mount Barker Speedway, we want to give our local drivers the opportunity to support their event while still getting some valuable practice laps in before our season gets underway!

With this in mind, we’ve moved our practice day to Sunday, 8 November, from 12pm–3pm.

🐝 BUSY BEE | 9am–12pm
🏎️ PRACTICE | 12pm–3pm
🍔 BBQ LUNCH | Around 11am

We’ll kick off the day with a Busy Bee to get the club ready for the season, followed by a BBQ lunch before practice begins.

We’d love to see as many members as possible come down, lend a hand and help get us ready for another big season at Albany Speedway!

WHO’S READY FOR THE SEASON?

The countdown is ON! Just one month until Albany Speedway fires back into action on Saturday, November 14th!

While things might look quiet, the work certainly hasn’t stopped! Our amazing club members and the team at Koster Steel have been busy all off-season making some major upgrades to the track, getting everything ready for the green flag.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back and show off our new catch fence!

🏁 BUSY BEE THIS SATURDAY 🏁

Our pre-season Busy Bee is happening tomorrow, Saturday, from 8:00am, and we need as many members as possible to come down and lend a hand!

We know the weather isn’t looking great, but there are still plenty of jobs that can be done undercover. If the weather is absolutely horrible, we will postpone to Sunday, 11 October at 10:00am, and a notice will be posted if this happens.

We have a huge amount to get through before the season starts, and even an hour of your time can make a massive difference.

📅 A QUICK REMINDER
We also have Busy Bees scheduled for:
- Saturday, 24 October from 8:00am
- Saturday, 7 November — 12pm - 3pm before Practice

We’d love to see all our club members at as many Busy Bees as possible! But if you can’t make it this Saturday, we’d love to see you at the next one.
